Eligibility Required for Wound Care Certification

- You need to have more than three years of experience and active practice in wound care. The experience must be recorded by the institution’s Medical Director, Chief of Staff, or Chief Clinical Officer. - Plus, you must be currently enrolled in or completed an ABMS or AOA-approved training program, accompanied by 1-year wound medicine and surgery fellowship, which must be documented by the fellowship director.
